We are still looking for PvPers to join our ranks.
Attitude counts as well as experience, so even if you don't have 0.0 PvP exposure we can help shape you.
PvPing for the ISSN is to PvP at the very highest level - our targets choose us, not vice-versa, and they are always well equipped for the fights. This means we only engage other willing PvPers, some of the very best in EVE - no easy ganks here.

To be honest, we always pay more attention to someone's potential than actual number of skill points. 5m is a rough guide, just because our life is too tough for real nublets. However, if you feel confident in yourself and your ship, we are happy to teach people the PvP ropes.
We generally only fight other good PvPers, its the nature of our corporation - our KOS list is all the corps who have chosen to shoot ISS. No easy ganks, and lots of tough, prepared enemies.
But we provide a wealth of logistical and financial support to our members. We're totally unique in EVE - A PvP force funded by the parent alliance though a monthly budget, with a salaried Command team, and comprehensive support for members.
There is no-one else quite like the ISSN.

No membership fees - all the benefits you see on the front page are what you get.
The more active a member is, the more they take advantage of those benefits. It works well... relatively inactive members cost us very little. Active members can cost us a lot, but we don't mind, precisely because they are active.
We are funded via our Alliance with a mission to protect shareholder investments, and occasionally we venture into empire for the 'easier' wardec ganks.

THX for ansver.
1) Anyone who shoots a member of ISS has their corporation set to -10 to the ISSN and we will regard them as KOS, this includes alliances as well as corporations.
2) As often as you like. Gangs large and small are always being formed.
3) We are nomadic. We go to where the trouble is. This gives us a huge variety of enemies and PvP opportunities.
4) Yes, certainly. We occasionally have compulsory operations (ie, if you are online you must be there) but we would never make any demands of your RL, for example.

Does answering peoples questions count as a bump? Am I allowed to answer more than one question a day? May my corpmates answer peoples questions if their answers differ from mine?

Ally,
Thanks for the message. Our advice would be to specialise. With 5m skill points you might be able to fly all the races battleships, but that doesnt mean you can fly them properly. Especially races as diverse as, say, Gallente and Caldari.
One requires you to train Missile and Shield skills, the other Hybrid, Drone, and Armor skills. Even highly experienced players would struggle with this. This would be on top of your core engineering, electronics, and navigation skills.
Choose which type of combat you prefer, and perhaps start with smaller ships and work your way up natually. For example, I have an alt with 9m skillpoints who is a pure frigate specialist - and all of those 9m skillpoints are put to good use for his intended role.
Take care, BD

Originally by: Sha'blach I'll be honest here... I spoke to one of your guys (who will remain nameless) and he said that your management and leadership is quote: "crap" unqoute. That's a deterent.
Well, if an nameless source you happen to know told you that, it must be true . How about you ask some questions about how ISSN in managed, and judge for yourself?
Whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, ISSN have an incredibly strong management team. I'm not sure how this person arrived at that opinion, all the traffic in my ear from new recruits is the complete opposite. Also its easy to say 'crap leadership' without quantifying it, which is exactly what you have done. To me, that means nothing. Come at me with something specific and I'm only too happy to listen, say 'but its just crap' like some kind of demented teenager and I'll show you the door.
We have a number of highly capable Directors with specific responsibilities - Member Tracking, Recruitment, Fleet Deployment, Logistics etc. Each Director has a team of willing pilots to assist them. They all do a superb job, I really cannot fault them. ISSN is without a doubt one of the best managed corporations in EVE, I get this kind of feedback from members all the time.
ISSN is a large corporation, its incredibly complex to run, with a multitude of benefits available to members, but we run it pretty much flawlessly. That is a huge credit to its leadership, and I am immensely proud of the corporation we have developed.
